43Dialog 4224 Operator

Extending

Operators and groups

To extend a call to another operator or group in your own

exchange or private network.

Operators

z Dial the extension number.

Display example:

Press to extend the call.

The call is extended and the terminal is cleared.

Groups

To extend a call to a group number:

z Dial the group number.

The right side of the display shows who is answering and the 5th

row shows the group name and number.

Display example:

Press to extend the call.

The call is extended and the terminal is cleared.

Note: If the whole group is busy the call can still be

extended. The call is put on hold and will ring the first

extension that becomes free.
